It is amazing that politicians in Punjab enjoy “hanging” themselves on the walls and electric poles which otherwise is the last “judgment” in the judiciary. This kind of defacing of cities after cities speaks volumes of impotency of the present administration where law seems to have taken the back seat. Aam Aadmi suffers in different offices including ‘Suvidha Kenders’ but the legal and the illegal acts of the politicians get the top most priority leaving no time for the genuine people. Look at the present scenario where the mayors who are supposed to be first citizens of the cities are happy to be “hanged” all over the places through their sycophants thus making the mockery of the law of the land and the administration feeling totally impotent to act or react. May be “hanging” is the right word for them and therefore they do not feel the pain of it and find themselves at the right place. Dear mayors you are lucky to be the first citizens and therefore you need to be more responsive to the public sentiments. Your work should speak and not your “giggles” from the top of the electric poles.
