GNDU Prof elected Indian Society of Human Genetics President

Prof AJS BhanwerAmritsar: Prof AJS Bhanwer, Department of Human Genetics and Dean Faculty of Life Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has been elected as the President of the Indian Society of Human Genetics (ISHG). The society is a premier body of about 1600 human geneticists from all over India. The results of the election were declared at Mumbai during the deliberations of International Symposium on Genomics in Health and Disease & 40th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Human Genetics held from 28th Jan to 30th Jan. 2015. He also chaired a session on Genetics of Complex Diseases during this conference.
