One thing Kuldip Nayar and Media has always ignored is the fact that Indira Gandhi had already decided and was making plans to attack the Golden Temple as per Lt. Gen. Sinha. Indira Gandhi never wanted to resolve Punjab problem peacefully. There were many meetings with Akali leaders to resolve the problems, and many times it was declared that both sides have reached an agreement. But every time Indira Gandhi used some kind of excuse to reject the agreement. That is because she never wanted to resolve the Punjab problem. She wanted things to worsen so that she could justify her army attack that she had planned. One thing Media and general public should understand that Indira Gandhi was the root cause of the whole problem and wanted to use it for political benefit to get Hindu majority votes and win the next elections.
