Sikhs marriages are not being registered under Anand Marriage Act

Last week, I went to Registrar, Marriage Registration office in Ludhiana to get my marriage registered under Anand Marriage Act, but concerned official said that their office had received no official orders from the government for separate registration of Sikhs marriages under the newly passed Anand Marriage Act.

I wonder, what is the status of Anand Marriage Act and when I would be able to register my marriage under this Act?
